This Privacy Policy explains how BetaConductor collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects personal information when you use our website, create an account, join a waitlist, manage a workspace, participate as a tester, or use payment and payout features.
We collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, account credentials, profile details, workspace and project information, waitlist applications, tester submissions, feedback, support messages, and payout destination details you choose to provide.
We also collect service and device data such as IP address, browser and device information, usage events, log data, notification preferences, and transaction metadata needed to secure and operate the platform.
If you use payment, funding, or payout features, we and our payment service providers may process billing, transaction, payout, identity, and compliance information needed to complete those services, prevent fraud, verify eligibility, and maintain accurate financial records.
When you provide personal data in connection with payment services, Stripe receives that personal data and processes it in accordance with Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Where enabled, payout setup may include bank-account, account-ownership, or other verification data collected through Stripe or other payout providers so we can verify withdrawal destinations, reduce setup errors, and support lawful payouts.
We use personal information to provide and improve the service, authenticate users, run beta programs, review submissions, administer rewards and payouts, manage subscriptions and workspace funding, detect abuse, investigate fraud, satisfy legal obligations, and communicate with you about service activity and support.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with workspace owners and administrators you engage with through the platform, service providers that help us operate the service, payment and payout providers, cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, communications and support vendors, professional advisers, and law enforcement or regulators where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and platform integrity.
We may also disclose information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.
We store personal information, including financial account data collected for payout setup where applicable, in the United States. By using the service, you understand that your information will be processed and stored in the United States.
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain workspace and tester records, complete financial reporting and compliance obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the platform. We may retain limited records after account closure where required by law or reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, audits, or legal claims.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may update certain information directly in your account. You may also ask us to review or disconnect a linked payout or financial account where that functionality is available through our providers.
If you opt out of certain data uses or remove required payout information, some payment, payout, or platform features may no longer be available.
